Cobham SATCOM and Kepler Communications have announced the completion of connectivity trials on Kepler’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) network with the SAILOR 600 VSAT Ku antenna system.

Kongsberg has been awarded a contract for signal processing equipment that provides improved mobile coverage in areas with insufficient ground network. The equipment is to be integrated in Airbus Defence and Space’s new mobile communication satellite, Thuraya 4-NGS.

Lockheed Martin and Ball Aerospace successfully completed a phased array transmit test for a Multi-Band, Multi-Mission (MBMM) antenna. MBMM helps enable multiple satellites to simultaneously connect with a single-phased array antenna system using multiple frequencies.
