Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) have updated launch schedule of the H-IIB Launch Vehicle No. 7 (H-IIB F7) which carries aboard the H-II Transfer Vehicle “KOUNOTORI7” (HTV7), the cargo transporter to the International Space Station (ISS).

China plans to launch the heavy-lift carrier rocket Chang Zheng-9 in 2028, an official of China National Space Administration (CNSA) was quoted as saying.

Rocket: PSLV-C42 (core-alone version); Payload: NovaSAR, S1-4; Date: 16 September 2018, 16347 UTC; Launch site: Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, India. Both satellites were injected into 583 km Sun Synchronous Orbit.

Rocket: Delta II; Payload: Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2); Date: 15 September 2018, 1302 UTC; Launch site: Vandenberg Air Force Base, USA. This marks the final mission of the Delta II rocket, which first launched on 14 February 1989, and launched 155 times including ICESat-2.

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta II rocket is in final preparations to launch NASA’s Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) spacecraft from Space Launch Complex-2 on 15 September between 1246 and 1520 UTC. This marks the final launch of the Delta II rocket, which first launched on 14 February 1989.

Arianespace announced that it will orbit THEOS-2, the very-high-resolution Earth observation optical satellite for Thailand, under the terms of a turnkey contract between Airbus Defence and Space and the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency of Thailand (GISTDA).
