Arianespace’s sixth Ariane 5 for launch in 2014 is now ready to receive its two satellite passengers after this workhorse vehicle was moved to the Spaceport’s Final Assembly Building in French Guiana.

NASA said its industry partners continue to complete development milestones under agreements with the agency’s Commercial Crew Program.

NASA’s new Orion spacecraft now is at its launch pad after completing its penultimate journey. It arrived at Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, where the spacecraft then was lifted onto a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket in preparation for its first trip to space.

On 10 November, the Angara-A5 left the Integration & Testing Facility in Area 41 of the Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome in the Archangelsk Region. The first-ever rollout of the heavy-lift launch vehicle and its transfer to the Angara multi-purpose launch pad proceeded as planned.

The launch of Astra 2G aboard a Proton-M is on schedule despite reports that had suggested otherwise. According to International Launch Services, day one of fuelling of the Astra 2G spacecraft was completed on schedule in Baikonur.

NASA’s Orion spacecraft is set to roll out of the Launch Abort System Facility (LASF) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to its launch pad at nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 37 on 10 November in preparation for lift-off next month on its first space flight.

GLONASS-K No.12L, a navigation satellite designed and built by ISS-Reshetnev Company, has been delivered to the Plesetsk launch site.
