Orbital Sciences Corporation said the test flight of its Antares rocket demonstrated all operational aspects of the new launcher, including the ascent to space and accurate delivery of a simulated payload to a target orbit of approximately 240 x 256 km, with an inclination of 51.6 degrees, the same launch profile it will use for Orbital’s upcoming cargo supply missions to the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA.
