Electrical checks of Prisma satellites have successfully been completed and all onboard systems have been declared ready for flight, Swedish Space Company said.

Space shuttle Atlantis and six astronauts ended a 12-day journey of more than 7.7 million kilometers with a 1248 UTC landing on 26 May at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The launch of the United Launch Alliance Delta IV with the Air Force’s Global Positioning System IIF SV-1 satellite (or GPS IIF-1 for short) is tentatively rescheduled for 28 May (UTC).

Preparations remain on schedule for the launch of Proton Briz M launcher with Arabsat’s Badr 5B (Arabsat-5B) telecommunications satellite on 4 June.

Lifting off from the Spaceport in French Guiana on 21 May (UTC), an Ariane 5 ECA successfully orbited the Astra 3B commercial telecommunications satellite for Luxembourg-based SES Astra, along with the COMSATBw-2 secure military relay spacecraft for Astrium GmbH on behalf of the German Bundeswehr (armed forces).
