Space shuttle Endeavour and six astronauts ended a 14-day journey of more than 9.1 million km with a landing on 22 February, 0320 UTC at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The launch of ESA’s CryoSat-2 satellite from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, scheduled for 25 February, has been delayed due to a concern related to the second stage steering engine of the Dnepr launcher.

Eutelsat W3B was moved from a Chang Zheng launcher to an Ariane 5 because the satellite contains U.S.-made parts and thus cannot be launched by a Chinese rocket.

Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) announced that it shipped a communications satellite built for DISH Network L.L.C. to the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan, where it will be launched aboard an ILS Proton Briz M vehicle provided by International Launch Services (ILS).

NASA is targeting Monday, 5 April, for the launch of the next space shuttle from the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
