The inaugural launch of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will be delayed to September or October, Florida Today reports.

NASA officials said inclement weather may hamper efforts to bring space shuttle Endeavour to the launch pad on time, which would cause a delay of roughly one month.

Radio satellite Sirius FM-5 (not to be confused with SES’ Sirius 5) was delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome on 26 May. After passing through customs, the spacecraft was transferred to building 92A-50 for testing and integration.

NASA said it decided to move the LRO/LCROSS from a 2 June window to a 17 June window so as to allow the LCROSS team additional time to mitigate a potential thrust disturbance associated with the Atlas V Centaur fill/drain valves.
