Amos-3 ready for first ‘Land Launch’

Spacecom, the operator of the Amos satellite fleet, announced that its newest communications satellite, Amos-3, is scheduled to launch on 24 April, 0500 UTC from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. It will be the first mission under Sea Launch’s “Land Launch” programme.

Update: Cartosat-2A launch planned for end of April

India plans to launch its Cartosat-2A remote sensing satellite, plus several piggyback payloads, on 28 April aboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from its spaceport of Sriharikota.

Soyuz TMA-11 lands off target but safely
