The launches of two U.S. military satellites, the Defense Support Program (DSP) 23 spacecraft and WGS F1, have apparently been delayed.

International Launch Services (ILS) and Inmarsat Plc announced a contract for launch of the Inmarsat 4-F3 satellite on a Proton Briz M vehicle in early 2008.

NASA has signed a US$975 million contract extension with Pratt and Whitney Rocketdyne Inc. to maintain the agency’s fleet of Space Shuttle Main Engines (SSMEs) until the orbiter is retired in 2010.
