The launch of the Russian Proton-M due to deliver the EchoStar XXI (EchoStar 21) satellite into orbit has been rescheduled from November to December, International Launch Services announced on its official website.

Rocket: Falcon 9; Payload: 10 Iridium NEXT satellites; Date: 14 January 2017, 1754 UTC; Launch site: Vandenberg Air Force Base, USA. The satellites were delivered into low-Earth orbit approximately one hour after the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off.

For its year-opening launch of 2017, Arianespace will orbit the Hispasat 36W-1 geostationary satellite for the Spanish operator Hispasat using a Soyuz launch vehicle.

ISRO has postponed the launch of its GSLV Mk-III to allow time for additional testing of the vehicle. The rocket will either be launched in March or April after completing the tests.

Rocket: Atlas V 401/Centaur; Payload: TDRS-M; Date: 18 August 2017, 1229 UTC; Launch site: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, USA. This mission was launched into geostationary transfer orbit aboard an Atlas V 401 configuration vehicle, which includes a 4-meter extended payload fairing.

mu Space Corp announced that they have entered into an agreement with Blue Origin to partner on a future launch of a geostationary satellite aboard their New Glenn orbital rocket. The launch is set to happen early in the next decade.
