SLS core stage receives 4 RS-25 engines for 1st flight

Aerojet Rocketdyne recently delivered four RS-25 engines to NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) forintegration with the core stage of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) in anticipation of the rocket’s first flight on the Artemis 1 mission.

TELNET Holding, SPUTNIX and GK Launch to co-operate on smallsats

Tunisian company TELNET Holding and Russian companies SPUTNIX and GK Launch Services have signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding under which the parties intend to co-operate in building of smallsat components and entire satellites, their orbiting and deployment of constellations.

Intelsat 39 arrives at launch base

The Intelsat 39 geosynchronous communications satellite has safely arrived at the Arianespace launch base in Kourou, French Guiana, after completing final delivery checkouts at Maxar’s Palo Alto, California manufacturing facility.

China launches 46th navigation satellite

Rocket: Chang Zheng-3B/G2; Payload: Beidou-3I2 (IGSO-2) [aka Beidou-46]; Date: 24 June 2019, 1805 UTC; Launch site: Xichang Satellite Launch Center, China. After in-orbit tests, the new satellite will work with those BDS satellites already in orbit to improve the coverage and positioning accuracy of the system.
