EchoStar Corporation announced that Michael T. Dugan has been named the company’s president and CEO, positions formerly held by Charles Ergen. Mr. Ergen will remain chairman of EchoStar Corporation.

Sirius XM Radio announced that Gary Parsons has resigned as a director and Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. The company’s Board of Directors has appointed Eddy W. Hartenstein, an independent director, to serve as non-executive Chairman.

Alliant Techsystems announced that after more than six years as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel J. Murphy will leave the company and retire in March, 2010. The company’s Board of Directors has appointed General Ronald R. Fogleman to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) announced that Patrick DeWitt will be appointed to the SS/L Board of Directors as its Chairman and will relinquish his duties as Chief Executive Officer at the end of the year.

Lockheed Martin Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has elected Christopher E. Kubasik to serve as president and chief operating officer, effective 1 January 2010.

Ronald D. Sugar, chairman and chief executive officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation since 2003, has announced his plan to retire from the company in June 2010, following 29 years of service to Northrop Grumman and its predecessor companies.
