NASA engineers successfully integrated and completed system testing on a new robotic lander recently at Teledyne Brown Engineering’s facility in Huntsville in support of the Robotic Lunar Lander Project at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.

Japan’s H-II Transfer Vehicle Kounotori 2 (HTV 2) was successfully berthed to the International Space Station (ISS).

Orbital Sciences Corporation said it has signed a systems integration and test contract with Thales Alenia Space, the prime contractor for Iridium NEXT, the next-generation satellite constellation of Iridium Communications Inc.

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon and Lockheed Martin contracts to provide preliminary designs for the Space Fence Program.

KA-SAT, Eutelsat’s high throughput satellite built by Astrium, is now undergoing comprehensive in-orbit testing following its launch at the end of last month. All systems are operating nominally.
