SES New Skies’ NSS-9 arrives in Kourou

OHB to design European AIS constellation

ESA and OHB-System AG have signed a contract for the analysis and design of a satellite constellation for global ship tracking. The contract has a volume of around EUR1 million (US$1.31 million).

Gazprom Space Systems orders three new satellites

Reshetnev wins satellite order from Indonesia

ISS Reshetnev Company has won a tender on in-orbit delivery of a geostationary telecommunication satellite, Telkom 3, for the Indonesian operator PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk.

Update: Boeing gets the green light for construction of sixth WGS satellite

The U.S. Air Force has authorised the Commonwealth of Australia’s provision of US$234 million for Boeing to complete production of the sixth Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite.
