The Team GOES-R partnership led by Raytheon Company has submitted its proposal to develop the ground segment for the U.S: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s next-generation Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite series known as GOES-R.

The Joint Working Group of ISRO and CNES met at Goa during 5 and 6 July 2008 to review the progress of on-going collaborative programmes, including the long-delayed Megha Tropiques.
