New technologies for JWST approved early

More than a year ahead of schedule, a team of independent experts has approved all ten new technologies developed for NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. The early approval can reduce the risk of increased costs and schedule delays before the programme is approved for further development, the agency said.

Integral to upgrade JSAT ground system for JCSAT-11

Integral Systems, Inc. announced a contract with Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS) to expand JSAT Corporation’s existing EPOCH-based ground system to support their new JCSAT-11 satellite, a Lockheed Martin A2100 model spacecraft scheduled to be launched later this year.
