Sentinel-3B in orbit

Rocket: Rokot; Payload: Sentinel-3B; Date: 25 April 2018, 1757 UTC; Launch site: Plesetsk, Russia. Rokot’s upper stage delivered Sentinel-3B into its planned orbit.

Improved GLONASS satellites to be launched from 2019

Next-generation GLONASS satellites will be put into orbit starting next year, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin was quoted as saying.

China’s Chang’e-4 relay satellite named ‘Queqiao’

The relay satellite for the Chang’e-4 lunar probe expected to land on the far side of the Moon later this year, has been named “Queqiao” – magpie bridge.
