Andrew to stay single: merger cancelled, takeover bid rejected

Andrew Corporation and ADC Telecommunications Inc. have mutually agreed to terminate the merger agreement announced on 31 May 2006. Andrew’s board also rejected an unsolicited takeover proposal from Commscope Inc.
