No more insurance money for XM’s first two satellites

XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it failed to collect on an outstanding insurance claim submitted in August 2004.

Update: Last M-V puts Solar-B in orbit

Japan’s last M-V rocket actually had a second payload in addition to Solar-B: HIT-SAT, a tiny amateur radio satellite.
