Chinese government releases white paper on space

China plans to develop non-toxic, pollution-free, high-performance, low-cost and powerful thrust carrier rockets of the new generation in the coming five years, according to a white paper released by the Information Office of the State Council, China’s cabinet.

First launch of Korean-Russian rocket delayed

The first launch of South Korea’s KSLV-1 rocket will be delayed one year because a technology transfer agreement with Russia, which is to provide most parts of the launcher, has not been signed yet.

Badr-4 launch campaign started

International Launch Services (ILS) said it kicked off its next Proton launch campaign this week with the arrival Tuesday of the satellite payload, Arabsat’s Badr-4 (Arabsat 4B), at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
