First STSS satellite completes thermal vacuum testing

Northrop Grumman Corporation , the prime contractor for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) missile detecting Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS; f.k.a. SBIRS Low), announced the successful completion of thermal vacuum testing of space vehicle number 1.
