NASA’s space shuttle mission postponed 24 hours

The launch of space shuttle Endeavour on mission STS-118 has been postponed 24 hours to allow the shuttle processing team additional time to complete routine work before lift-off.

Phoenix on its way to Mars

Rocket: Delta II 7925-9.5; Payload: Phoenix Mars Lander; Date: 4 August 2007, 0926 UTC; Site: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, USA. Initial contact with the spacecraft was obtained at 1102 UTC by Lockheed Martin’s Flight Operations team at its Space Systems company facility near Denver.
