Calian to provide RF systems for Inmarsat Earth stations

Calian Technologies Ltd. said its SED division has received a contract valued at approximately C$10 million (EUR7.0 million, US$9.5 million) from Inmarsat to develop Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) for its new I-4 Earth station in Paumalu, Hawaii.

Commercial spy satellite delivered to launch site

Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., ITT Corporation and DigitalGlobe announced delivery of its WorldView-1 satellite to Vandenberg Air Force Base in California for its scheduled launch on 18 September 2007.

NASA awards first stage contract for Ares rockets

NASA has signed a US$1.8 billion contract with Alliant Techsystems, known as ATK, for the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the first stage of the Ares I and Ares V launch vehicles.
