SkyVision expands NSS-10 capacity

SkyVision, a provider of Internet services over satellite and terrestrial fibre optic systems, has renewed contracts for four transponders and contracted additional capacity on the NSS-10 satellite. Terms of the multi-year agreement remain confidential.

WorldSpace still can’t pay debt, plans restructuring

1worldspace announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with four debt holders to defer until 25 September 2008 the company’s obligation to pay US$19.97 million plus accrued but unpaid interest, which was payable on 15 September 2008.

Galileo: 11 candidates short-listed for next step of procurement procedure

The European Commission and the European Space Agency have selected 11 applicants out of the 21 applications received for the procurement procedure of the first complete constellation of the European satellite navigation system (Galileo).
