Spirent simulates Japan’s Quazi Zenith Satellite System

Spirent Communications plc announced the world’s first RF constellation simulator that supports the Japanese Quasi Zenith Satellite System (QZSS). Spirent GSS800 now supports QZSS system in addition to GPS, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and SBAS.

Chandrayaan-1 reaches lunar orbit

The first orbit reduction manoeuvre of the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft which is orbiting the moon, was successfully performed on 9 November 2008. The satellite had entered lunar orbit the day before.
