Update: Next Ariane 5 launch rescheduled

The launch of an Ariane 5 with two telecoms satellites from the Kourou space centre in French Guiana has been moved to 20 December UTC.

South Korea may not rebuild Russian stage for KSLV 2

South Korea’s ambitious plans to build its own rocket, the Korea Space Launch Vehicle 2 (KSLV 2), have been dealt a serious blow that is expected to delay the project significantly, several papers report.

Progress M-65 de-orbited

The Progress M-65 cargo spacecraft, which undocked from the International Space Station on 17 September and served as a temporary space lab, has crashed into the Pacific Ocean as planned.
