Proton M lifts off with AsiaSat 5 (part I)

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: AsiaSat 5; Date: 11 August 2009, 1947 UTC; Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The satellite was to reach its geostationary transfer orbit around nine hours after lift-off [too late for this issue].
