Proton M lifts off with AsiaSat 5 (part II)

After a 9 hour 15 minute mission, a Briz M upper stage successfully released the AsiaSat 5 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit. The upper stage and its payload were launched on 11 August, 1947 UTC aboard a Proton M.
