From Cable to Satellite TV – An Entertainment History

A little more than half a century ago, there were not even 10,000 television sets in use across the entire United States of America. Nowadays, you would be hard pressed to find a household that did not have at least one TV in it. So, how did the number of homes with televisions grow from so few to so, so many? Well, it all started with a man named John Walson. He was responsible for setting into motion a technological chain of events that would eventually lead to things like varied programming and HD options, which are widely available today.
