The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), with help from Boeing and Iridium, has successfully implemented a new space-based system to monitor Earth’s space environment.

Honeywell announced that its On Board Computer (OBC), Reaction Wheel Assembly (RWA) and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), which are part of the United States Air Force (USAF) Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) III programme built by Lockheed Martin, have successfully completed Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).

Satellite TV has such a huge advantage over cable TV that the many subscribers are leaving cable and moving to their satellite competitors. The benefits of satellite are many – from the lower monthly charges, the wider range of packages, the greater level of reliability, and the superior customer service.
