Fobos-Grunt failure explained, no U.S. radar required

While many media still discuss the highly unlikely theory that a U.S. radar may have zapped Russia’s Fobos-Grunt spacecraft, a much more plausible scenario has finally surfaced: a software error could be the root cause of the probe’s malfunction.
