Cargo loading underway with the next ATV resupply spacecraft

Arianespace’s Ariane 5 flight schedule in 2013 includes the company’s fourth launch of an Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) to the International Space Station, with cargo loading of the large resupply spacecraft now underway in French Guiana.

Landsat Data Continuity Mission pre-launch details

NASA’s Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) is scheduled to launch on 11 February from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. A joint NASA and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) mission, LDCM will add to the longest continuous data record of Earth’s surface as viewed from space.

Orbcomm completes US$45 million term loan financing with AIG

Orbcomm Inc. has completed a debt financing in the form of a five-year term loan through a Senior Secured Note Agreement in the principal amount of US$45 million with AIG Asset Management (U.S.), LLC.

YahLive, the Abu Dhabi, UAE-based HD television satellite platform for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and GlobeCast announced a new partnership in which GlobeCast will provide YahLive with a 24/7 monitoring and reporting service for YahLive’s satellite signals (video, audio, and data) across the MENA region.
