SMC enters into Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with SpaceX

The U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with Space Exploration Technologies Corp. as part of the company’s effort to certify its Falcon 9 v1.1 Launch System for National Security Space (NSS) missions.

JCSAT-14 ordered from SSL

SSL was selected to provide a communications satellite to Sky Perfect JSAT. The satellite, JCSAT-14, will replace JCSAT-2A at 154 degrees East and expands on its capacity to meet the growing demand for telecommunications infrastructure in the Asia Pacific region.

By increasing throughput, end-user customers receive a 50% higher performing link at a lower cost per bit.
