AFSPC-4 launch delayed again

The launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta IV carrying the AFSPC-4 mission was scrubbed on 24 July due to a violation of multiple weather criteria.

Galileo test satellite fails

One of the four Galileo In-Orbit Validation (IOV) satellites has apparently permanently failed for reasons yet unknown. The problem is not expected to affect the launch of the Galileo Full Operational Capability (FOC) satellites currently scheduled for next month.

China to build, launch another EO satellite for Venezuela

The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) has signed an agreement with Venezuela for in-orbit delivery of a second remote sensing satellite for the country, the company said.

Eutelsat America Corp. eligible to provide Hosted Payload Services to U.S. Government

Eutelsat America Corp., the U.S. affiliate of Eutelsat Communications has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force to support the deployment of future U.S. Government payloads (hosted payloads) on its satellites.
