SpaceX will reportedly try to launch AsiaSat 6 aboard a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on 7 September between 0450 and 0804 UTC.

Latest O3b satellites operational

O3b said recently that in-orbit testing of its latest satellites has been successfully completed and the satellites have been commissioned into the O3b constellation. The expanded constellation is now fully operational allowing the company to launch services on a global basis.

NOAA to utilise data acquired by “Shizuku”

The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has begun to routinely utilise observational data acquired by JAXA’s Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2) aboard the Global Change Observing Mission – Water “Shizuku” (GCOM-W) to monitor the land, ocean and atmosphere globally and around the U.S.
