Firefly Space Systems and NASA have inked Space Act Agreement

Firefly Space Systems, Inc., a small satellite launch company, announced it has entered into a Space Act Agreement (SAA) with NASA’s George C. Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama.

Aerojet Rocketdyne completes hot-fire test with RS-25 controller unit

Aerojet Rocketdyne successfully completed the first in a series of hot-fire tests on the RS-25 rocket engine, which will help power NASA’s new Space Launch System (SLS).

SES plans government satellite for Luxembourg

SES announced that it plans to launch a dedicated satellite for governmental use in partnership with the Luxembourg Government in late 2017. A Luxembourg-based company jointly held by SES and the Luxembourg Government is planned to own and operate the new spacecraft.
