NASA’s Mars 2020 rover to fly Atlas V

NASA has selected United Launch Services to provide launch services for the Mars 2020 mission, currently targeted for launch in July 2020 aboard an Atlas V 541 rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

Intelsat 33e healthy after launch

Intelsat S.A. announced that Intelsat 33e, the second of seven planned Intelsat EpicNG high throughput satellites, was launched successfully from French Guiana aboard an Ariane 5 launch vehicle. Signal acquisition has been confirmed.

Mexico formally accepts Mexsat system

Boeing said that the Mexsat system was formally accepted by Mexico’s Ministry of Communications and Transportation after successfully completing its final tests.
