In-orbit testing of EchoStar XXI successfully completed

EchoStar Corporation announced the successful completion of in-orbit testing and handover of the EchoStar XXI satellite from manufacturer Space Systems Loral (SSL) to EchoStar’s satellite operations team who manages flight operations via EchoStar XXI’s primary satellite Earth station located in Griesheim, Germany and a secondary station in Rambouillet, France.

Nine satellites in exactEarth’s real-time constellation now in service

exactEarth said that the company, in partnership with Harris Corporation, is bringing five more satellites from its real-time (RT) constellation into service. These additional satellites will raise the total to nine in the real-time system that have been successfully incorporated into exactEarth services.
