Telesat books New Glenn launches

Telesat and Blue Origin have signed a multi-launch agreement that paves the way for the New Glenn rocket to play a key role in Telesat’s deployment of its global LEO satellite constellation.

Anomaly detected aboard Soyuz rocket, launch maybe delayed

Following routine checks for the upcoming OneWeb launch, Arianespace informed OneWeb of technical issue on the Fregat upper stage of the Soyuz launcher. The Fregat stage has been placed in safe configuration, enabling Arianespace to conduct additional testing.

Loon’s balloons to support Telesat’s LEO constellation

Telesat and Loon, a subsidiary of Google’s parent company Alphabet, announced they have entered into an agreement under which Loon will deliver a network operating system design that Telesat can use to support its global low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.
