Lockheed, York receive contracts for new military satellite network

The U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA) has awarded two contracts — totalling US$281.6 million — to develop two sets of satellites that are to serve as the communications backbone for a network designed to enable a range of advanced command and control systems.
