Gonets-M launch set for 24 November

The next three Gonets-M satellites are scheduled for launch on 24 November, two days ahead of the previous date, a spokesman for satellite operator Gonets was quoted as saying.

Second launch of heavy Angara rocket likely postponed

The second test launch of the Angara-A5 heavy rocket from the Plesetsk space centre in northwestern Russia was tentatively postponed from 24 November to 28 November, according to a rocket and space industry source.

Orbcomm and Inmarsat to provide new global IoT service

Orbcomm Inc. and Inmarsat announced that they will extend their agreement through at least 2035 and enhance their strategic partnership. The two companies will collaborate on joint product innovation and distribution of next-generation IoT satellite services, telematics devices and end-to-end solutions.

NXTCOMM leases capacity on Eutelsat E117WA for testing

NXT Communications Corporation (NXTCOMM) has signed a capacity agreement with Eutelsat Communications for capacity on Eutelsat’s E117WA satellite, aimed to provide the Over-The-Air Testing of NXTCOMM’s proprietary flat-panel terminals that will offer high-speed connectivity to aviation, military and other mobility markets.
