30 years ago: Voyager 2 launched

NASA’s Voyager spacecraft are celebrating three decades of flight as they head toward interstellar space. Voyager 2 was launched on 20 August 1977, and Voyager 1 on 5 September 1977. They continue to return information from distances more than three times farther away than Pluto.

Ten years ago: first RocketCam flight

Seven years ago: Russia’s Zvezda module launched

A Proton launch vehicle blasted off Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, on 12 July 2000, carrying Russia-built Zvezda (”Star”) service module for the ISS.
