Eutelsat Communications concludes acquisition of GE-23

New company plans space-based commercial laser communications network

Laser Light Communications, LLC was launched on 11 September at the World Satellite Finance Forum in Paris, France. Laser Light intends on deploying and operating what it believes to be the World’s first commercial satellite communications constellation based entirely on optical wave technology.

Globalstar, Arianespace disagree over launch contract
