Two new Eurovision contracts for Eutelsat

Eurovision and Eutelsat Communications announced that they are further strengthening their long-standing collaboration with two new contracts inked for capacity on Eutelsat’s W2A satellite in the Ku-band and in the C-band.

KVH leases capacity on JCSAT-1B, Intelsat 15

KVH Industries, Inc., announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (also known as SP-JSAT) to lease satellite capacity on its JCSAT-1B and the new Intelsat-15 satellites.

EchoStar and AsiaSat to launch DTH venture for Taiwan

EchoStar Corporation and Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia Satellite Telecommunications Holdings Limited, announced the formation of a joint venture for the delivery of a direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service to Taiwan and other targeted regions in Asia.

Astro takes six transponders on Measat-3a

Eutelsat’s satellite broadband service in Ireland, Spain
