Eurovision and Eutelsat Communications announced that they are further strengthening their long-standing collaboration with two new contracts inked for capacity on Eutelsat’s W2A satellite in the Ku-band and in the C-band.

SES Americom-New Skies announced that it has concluded a multi-year agreement with TAS (Teleport Access Services, Inc.) to provide three transponders on the NSS-11 satellite.

KVH Industries, Inc., announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (also known as SP-JSAT) to lease satellite capacity on its JCSAT-1B and the new Intelsat-15 satellites.

EchoStar Corporation and Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia Satellite Telecommunications Holdings Limited, announced the formation of a joint venture for the delivery of a direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service to Taiwan and other targeted regions in Asia.

SkyVision, a provider of Internet services over satellite and terrestrial fibre optic systems, has signed a multi-year contract for one transponder on Eutelsat’s newly-launched W2A satellite.

Measat Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd announced it has signed an agreement with Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (MBNS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Astro All Asia Networks plc, to supply transponder capacity on the Measat-3a satellite.

Measat Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd announced that Telekom Malaysia Berhad has renewed a contract for the leasing of transponder capacity on the Measat-3 satellite.

Eutelsat Communications has launched its Tooway consumer Internet access service in Ireland and announced a distribution deal for the service in Spain.
