VGTRK moves digital channels to Russian satellites

Poland’s nc+ extends long-term Eutelsat relationship

SES demos O3b technology for U.S. government customers

SES Government Solutions (SES GS) hosted a capabilities demonstration of the O3b satellite constellation for U.S. Government customers at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Members of the armed forces witnessed the enhanced communications capabilities available to them through the new O3b satellite fleet, including increased information throughput and significantly reduced latency.

First image download over new gigabit laser connection in space

The first ever gigabit transmission via laser of imagery between the radar sensor on Sentinel-1A and Alphasat satellites, the latter built by Airbus Defence and Space, has taken place successfully.

Inmarsat and ESA sign Iris Precursor partnership
