The launch of a Delta IV carrying a national security payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office has been pushed back to 2 April.

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: Intelsat 22; Date: 25 March 2011, 1210 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The Automated Transfer Vehicle, the most complex spacecraft ever produced in Europe, is now en route to deliver supplies to the International Space Station. Three Ariane 5s are now in French Guiana following arrival of the heavy-lift launcher for Arianespace’s June launch, which will carry a broadband communications satellite with North American coverage and a European weather observation platform.

A state commission today approved the readiness of a Proton-M carrier rocket for the launch of Intelsat-22, Russia’s Federal Space Agency Roskosmos said.
