Third European transport vehicle launched to ISS

Rocket: Ariane 5 ES; Payload: ATV 3 “Edoardo Amaldi”; Date: 23 March 2012, 0434 UTC; Launch site: Kourou, French Guiana. The Automated Transfer Vehicle, the most complex spacecraft ever produced in Europe, is now en route to deliver supplies to the International Space Station. It will also reboost the station’s orbit while it is attached for about five months.
