The weather-induced delay of the launch of Thuraya 3 aboard a Zenit 3SL is approaching two weeks after another attempt was scrubbed on 25 November.

An attempt to launch a Zenit 3SL rocket with the Thuraya 3 communications satellite on board will be made on 25 November from a floating platform in the Pacific Ocean, Sea Launch said.

Russia is to construct a new space launch site in the far eastern region of the country, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said.
