Ofcom decides on cancellation of ICO-P assignments

The UK Office of Communications (Ofcom) said it will ask the International Telecommunication Organisation (ITU) to cancel the assignments for ICO’s non-geostationary satellite system (ICO-P).

TerreStar Europe submits CDR milestone certification

TerreStar Europe Limited, a European mobile communications provider and an indirect, majority-owned subsidiary of TerreStar Corporation, announced that it has submitted a filing to the European Commission certifying that it had complied with the Critical Design Review milestone of the Pan-European 2GHz MSS S-band selection and spectrum authorisation process.

PlanetSpace files protest with GAO

Court enters judgement in ICO litigation against Boeing

Vietnam regulates use of satellite slots

Vietnam’s deputy prime minister Nguyen Thien Nhan issued instructions providing that Vietnamese telecommunications companies would be given priority to use certain geostationary slots.
