New rocket for Sea Launch?

Sea Launch may use a yet-to-be developed Russian rocket to replace the mainly Ukrainian-made Zenit carriers, the head of the Russian space rocket corporation Energia said.

Successful flight testing of ISRO’s scramjet engine

The first experimental mission of ISRO’s scramjet engine towards the realisation of an air breathing propulsion system was successfully conducted on 28 August 2016 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. Thus, India became the fourth country to demonstrate the flight testing of a scramjet engine.

NASA’s Juno successfully completes Jupiter flyby

NASA’s Juno mission has successfully executed its first of 36 orbital flybys of Jupiter at an altitude of about 4,200 kilometers above Jupiter’s swirling clouds. At the time, Juno was travelling at 208,000 kilometers per hour with respect to the planet. This flyby was the closest Juno will get to Jupiter during its prime mission.

SES GS to provide U.S. Government with O3b network
